Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday evening that the whole country is to go into lockdown again, the Government have confirmed that the housing market will continue to remain open throughout this new lockdown period, house moves can continue and estate agents and managing agents can still operate.
We will, therefore, continue to assist you with letting or selling your property or helping you to find a new home, while continuing to adhere to the government guidance on how to conduct our services safely. Should you need a valuation of your property we can do this in person or by video call. Viewings can be conducted in person or we can arrange a video tour.
All our staff have the facilities and equipment to work from home during this time and you should not experience any perceptible change in our service, save for the postponement of face-to-face meetings. Our opening hours and our emergency out of hours service remain unaffected.
In the interests of the wellbeing of our clients, our staff and the contractors we work with, we will continue to communicate where possible by email, telephone or video call. Similarly, on any site visits we make, we will continue to operate to the highest standards of health and safety. As well as adhering to all social distancing and hygiene measures, we will continue to maintain our strict COVID-19 protocol.
Essential works will continue to be undertaken. We are aware that our ability to perform more routine repairs and maintenance tasks may be delayed if our contractors are affected, but we are liaising closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure that this is as limited as possible. As always, we will endeavour to deal with maintenance issues as promptly as possible, but we would ask you to be patient as we are working in a very strict environment and need to assess and be able to justify the urgency and necessity of any works instructed.
